Igi (Korean) BBQ (All You Can Eat)
A week after returning from Edmonton, me and a friend decided to try out a Korean BBQ place. Upon researching Urbanspoon we landed on Igi BBQ & Sushi Bistro:
Located in an unassuming strip mall lies this fun little restaurant. To my amusement I realized this was in the same stripmall as Huang Pu River.
Proper Korean BBQ requires in-table grills. This allows for you, the customer, to grill the meats for an interactive and fun dining experience.
We started off with a bunch of sashimi. The salmon and tuna were both fairly fresh and firm with no fishy smell to them.
Our first batch of meats cooking. I could not keep up the sheer amount of food. The meats ranged from well done to tasteless. The short-ribs especially had too much fat and basically disintegated on the grill.
To finish off, this huge tray of sushi was brought out to us. Almost as if to tempt us to eat more, we resigned to only finishing half of this plate.
Picture at the end to show the damage from the meal. I definitely did not need to eat for the rest of the day.
